This cross features the Celtic tree of life pattern. It is found in the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France. Père Lachaise is one of the most well known cemeteries in the world drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. The Tree of Life symbolizes the interconnectedness of all life on our planet. The early Celts held trees, especially lone tree to have special significance. Trees provided a link between the earth and heaven. They symbolized life, longevity, spiritual growth, rebirth, and earth’s bounty.
