The Illusion - 353
This design is from a panel of the Farr Stone a cross-slab in Sutherland County, Scotland. The mounds of entangled knotwork on this panel represent major issues and the unconscious influences which affect your perception of them. Knotwork in general points to those parts of your psyche which bind you, distracts or entangles your mind - your habits, your desires, those things which you believe you are entitled to. The knotwork is a warning - to point out that you are unconscious of true reality - that you see the world only through your desires and fears. Knotwork also expresses the concept that all things living are interconnected.
Dimensions: 11" x 5"
Due to the hand casting and proprietary staining process, each of my plaques is unique. Each cross comes with a hanger embedded in the stone. The cross comes with a descriptive tag describing the original stone, explanation of the design or information on where the cross is located.
